About Us
Bluewater Coatings is a concrete coatings company based in Jacksonville and working across St. Johns County and the surrounding areas. We do not pour concrete. We take the slab you already have, grind it, repair it and put a polyurethane coating system on it that holds up to Florida sun, pool chemicals and daily traffic.
Polyurethane is what sets the work apart. It is roughly five times stronger than epoxy, it is UV stable so it will not yellow in the sun, it resists chemicals better and it lasts longer. Epoxy is cheaper up front and it is the wrong choice for a Florida pool deck or driveway, which is most of what we do.

Concrete CoatingsPolyurethane coating systems for concrete, applied over the slab you already have. UV stable, slip resistant, chemical resistant, and roughly five times stronger than epoxy.

Concrete RepairCrack and spall repair on driveways, pool decks and garage floors, done properly so the coating that goes over it does not telegraph the damage back through.
Epoxy removal
Grinding out failed, peeling or yellowed epoxy and recoating in polyurethane. Most of the epoxy removal we do is a floor that was coated once and did not last.
Deck Removal
Tearing out old decking and hauling it away, usually ahead of coating the concrete underneath. Clean removal, clean site, no surprise disposal charges.
Commercial/Industrial Coatings
Polyurethane floor systems for warehouses, shops, kitchens and industrial floors across North Florida. Chemical resistant, slip resistant, and able to take forklift traffic.
Garage Floor Coatings
One day grind, repair, flake and seal on a garage floor, finished in polyurethane rather than epoxy so it does not yellow or peel at the door line.
Pool Deck Coatings
Slip resistant polyurethane coatings for pool decks and lanais. UV stable so it will not yellow, and chemical resistant so chlorine and salt do not eat it.
Patio and Lanai Coatings
Coating screened lanais, covered porches and open patios in a UV stable polyurethane system that handles Florida sun, rain and foot traffic.
Driveway Coatings
Resurfacing and coating concrete driveways in polyurethane. Covers staining and old repairs, resists oil and tire marks, and does not yellow in the sun.
