A lot of our pool deck work starts with pulling off whatever is on top of the concrete now, whether that is old wood decking, pavers set over the slab, tile that has let go, or a coating that failed years ago.
We dismantle it, haul it off, and then assess the slab underneath, which is usually the part nobody has seen in a decade. Sometimes it is in good shape and goes straight to a coating. Sometimes there is repair to do first. Either way you get a straight answer and a price before any further work starts.
